Arizona States Most Important Home Games of 2012

New coach Todd Graham has made it clear that he wants fans to fill the stadium on game day. Especially during the big games. Now if ASU wants to make a bowl game this season, every home game is a big game, but Ive highlighted the three most important ones.

The season opner on september 1st, against the Northern Arizona University Lumber Jacks.
Now this may be the easiest game of the year, and seem unimportant. However this is the first game of the Todd Graham era, ASU needs to get off to a great start and dispose of NAU like the lesser team they are to build the Devil's confidence. If ASU is upsetted here, it'll be a long year for the devils.

September 22 against the Utah Uttes
This is the Pac-12 opener for the Sun Devils, last year the devils went to Utah and put a beating on them. This year Utah will be coming into town to return the favor. It is important for the Devils to come away with a victory here and get conference play off on the right foot.

November 17th against Washington State
Other than NAU, WSU is the worst team that ASU will face at home. Last year the Devils suffered an embarrassing loss to the cougars letting freshman nobody Connor Haliday throw for over 400 yards against them. ASU will be in a tough fight to qualify for a bowl, so they cant afford to lose to lesser teams. This is also senior day for the Devils, so they'll want to send their seniors out right. Also the Devils play hated rival UofA the next week, so a win here could be a huge boost going into their rivalry game.

Obviously Todd Graham wants the Sun Devil community at every game, but if you can only make it to a few, these three should be at the top of your list. These games are must win games if the Devils hope to go bowling this year.
